Honey helps to restore moisture in your skin and also helps prevent breakouts. Pumpkin is packed with vitamins A, C and E. These vitamins help protect your skin from sun damage, soften your skin and aid in preventing wrinkles. Coconut oil has antioxidants and vitamins A & E which helps with anti-aging.
I wanted to share this easy DIY pumpkin face mask with you. I’ve been using it every weekend as part of my self-care Sunday routine (especially since I’ve had so much leftover pumpkin puree from all my test banana pumpkin bread batches).
Onto the good stuff now!
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp almond milk (unflavored)
1/2 c pumpkin purée
1 tsp coconut oil
*FYI this recipe makes quite a bit of this pumpkin mask so either share with friends for a face mask self care party or save it in a mason jar to use (good for up to 2 weeks)
1. Wash your face with whatever face cleanser you use
2. Pat dry your face
3. Apply an even amount of your pumpkin face mask all over your face
4. Let sit for 15 minutes
5. Rinse off mask with warm water
6. Pat dry your face
7. Moisturize with whatever face moisturizer/lotion/gel you use
