Banana Pumpkin Bread

One of my favorite things to do is cook and bake. I enjoy trying out new recipes and creating my own as well. The best part about creating these dishes is sharing them with friends and family.

These past couple weeks I’ve been experimenting with different Banana Pumpkin Bread recipes. After baking (&adjusting) my original recipe about 4-5 times and forcing my friends to taste test all of them I think I’ve finally gotten it down to one super amazingly delicious banana bread recipe!

Ingredients:

3 – VERY ripe bananas (the more ripe the easier it is to mash & the sweeter it is)

1 1/3 cup pumpkin purée

2 eggs

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup white sugar

2 1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees

2. Mash your bananas in your mixing bowl

3. Mix in the rest of your wet ingredients

3. Slowly mix in each of your dry ingredients

4. Pour mixture into your loaf pan or whatever baking pan you’re using

5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes

6. Check with a toothpick that it is no longer wet in the center

7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes

8. Enjoy!
